New feed = the wall. Combines wall and feed. Apps that provide most insight into what pple are doing will win. Pple can choose format of feed items.
Apps are now "frictionless": you don't have to "add" app, you just start using it and decide how much to do or not with it.
Outside of facebook: api info to fb from outside. Social networks will decentralize so that apps won't even need to run within the social site soon. Want to push this forward. They will focus on core apps, feeds and communication apps. Will be less about fb and more about sharing. Parity with other apps.
Connect = platform for the rest of the web.
Bring your info and friends to other sites. Other site members can be linked via fb. Provide fb like functionality to other sites.
